Frequently asked questions

How do I scan a receipt?
Tap the camera button on the main screen, point it at the receipt, and take a photo. The app extracts the vendor, ΑΦΜ, amount, date and category automatically.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Google Cloud). Your receipts live in your own private Firebase storage path, protected by security rules that restrict access to your user ID.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. Open Profile → Delete Account. Your Firestore document and Storage folder are removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by Greek tax or accounting law.
What languages are supported?
Greek (primary) and English. Switch in Profile → Language.
Does the app work offline?
You need an internet connection to sign in, scan receipts (AI processing) and sync data. Previously loaded receipts can be viewed from cache.
How do I export my receipts?
Open any receipt and tap the share button to export it as a PDF with the original image and all extracted fields.
Why is the ΑΦΜ I scanned different from what’s on the receipt?
Every ΑΦΜ is checked against the official ΑΑΔΕ checksum. If the OCR’d digits don’t pass the checksum, the field is flagged for review so you can correct it before filing.
